Louis Métezeau

Louis Métezeau was initially the architect of Catherine de Bourbon before assuming the same role for Henri IV (1596). He took part in the construction of the Louvre's Grande Galerie and the Château de Fontainebleau, was well as the Place Royale (now the Place des Vosges) and the Place Dauphine in Paris.
